What excellent service! We had to book my wife’s car in when the engine management warning light came on and the car went into limp mode. We were booked in within 2 days, and the car was looked at promptly with no diagnostic charge (which is quite rare nowadays). The fault was promptly diagnosed as a dirty air filter. The car was repaired in the day and we were kept fully informed by text and phone throughout. Considering the car was fully cleaned as well, I am thoroughly impressed with the service as well as value for money. We would definitely recommend Zoom Auto London

I purchased a Hyundai i20 through a finance company from a dealership. On the very first day of collecting the car, I noticed a noise coming from the brakes. I immediately informed the dealership, and the representative assured me that it was due to the car not being driven for a while and that the noise should disappear within two days. However, after a week, the noise persisted, and I also felt vibrations when applying the brakes. Concerned, I returned to the dealership, and they directed me to a local garage with an average rating of just three stars on Google. Despite their claim that the mechanic was a professional, he turned out to be unreliable.Upon inspection, the mechanic diagnosed the issue as a faulty caliper and gave me a one-week timeframe for the repair. However, after the week passed, he claimed he couldn’t find the part and asked me to wait another week. Following that, he kept making excuses, eventually suggesting that I buy the part myself from eBay. Frustrated, I returned to the dealership and explained the situation. They then ordered the part from eBay and had it installed.Shockingly, just an hour after the repair, the noise returned. When I informed the dealership, they told me to sort it out with the garage myself, as they had already paid for the repair. This was completely unacceptable, as the dealership should have taken full responsibility for fixing the car. Nevertheless, I went back to the garage (Ali Autos Ltd.), and this time, without even properly inspecting the car, they claimed the issue was with the brake pin. They supposedly fixed it after another week, but the problem resurfaced within an hour.At this point, I had been dealing with this issue for a month. When I confronted the dealership again, they dismissed my concerns, stating that it was no longer their responsibility. Left with no other choice, I had to escalate the matter to my finance company and broker (Zuto Car Finance). This entire process took three months, during which I had to continuously chase all parties involved, even going as far as sending a legal notice. Zuto eventually sent an ACE car inspection specialist to diagnose the issue, and I also took the car to Halfords for a second opinion. Both confirmed that the real problem was simply low-quality discs and brake pads that the dealership had installed—not the caliper, as the garage falsely claimed. The mechanics at Halfords even laughed at how incompetent both the dealership and the garage were in failing to identify such a basic issue.If needed, I can attach evidence, including reports, to prove my claims. In the end, the customer service I experienced was nothing short of a nightmare. The dealership provided third-rate service, and I would strongly advise others to avoid them at all costs.
